Stand-alone Birth Package

2 prenatal visits including birth planning and birth education.

Available by text or phone between the hours of 8am-10pm from introduction meeting until 1 week before birth then on call for birth and birth attending. If your birth is over 24 hours the backup doula will be called in to support.

2 postpartum visits include writing your birth story, breast feeding support and birth story listening, meal prep and light housework including laundry.

10 hours of postpartum care including all services above mentioned       $450

20 hours of postpartum care including all services above mentioned       $820

The above packages will be set up to meet the needs of your family. I will be available at these rates from 7am-10pm. Overnight hours will be available upon request at $50/hour.

Combination Birth and Postpartum Packages

Birth package with 10 hours of postpartum care including all above mentioned services $1800

Birth package with 20 hours of postpartum care including all above mentioned services $2180

Abortion and Loss

At EASE we recognize that each experience with abortion and loss is deeply unique and as such we intend to have our support packages reflect this need. We would be honored to support you and your family during this time and individualized packages will be created with your needs in mind. Backup Care

As partners in EASE, Mandy and Raenelle will offer backup care support if required. You can learn more about them under the “About Us” section of this website’s menu. An introduction meeting can be arranged before birth to ensure you feel comfortable and that we are both familiar with your specific birthing plan.

*There is flexibility on the team to increase or decrease hours on your package depending on your family’s needs. At this time there is no availability of a sliding scale package, but our team is working on funding to ensure this is available in the near future.

In Person Sessions

Everybody needs support sometimes. Parenting is without a doubt the hardest job out there, and knowing when and how to ask for help can be one of the biggest challenges. This is where EASE can come in and relieve some of that stress. We will come into your home and assess both the strengths and areas of need for your family in your natural and comfortable environment. Based on this assessment and in collaboration, we will develop tailored service plans based on your goals, targeting specific challenges you’re experiencing as a family. We will introduce and help implement sensitive parenting skills and attachment strategies that will help address these challenges and foster a positive, healthy home environment for the whole family.

When possible, we can help you access funding through FSCD.

Length of service varies depending on family need. Following the initial assessment, a plan will be implemented with your family.

Circle of Security Parenting™ program

This program provides parents with a road map for understanding the different types of needs our children may be communicating to us through their behaviour. By learning about these driving forces behind their actions, as well by reflecting on how our past experiences impact our parenting choices, we become more present, active, and supportive in our relationships with our children.

This program will be offered in a group setting. From our experience both as participants and as facilitators, the learning that takes place within the group from parents’ shared experiences is invaluable. Your facilitators will create a safe, judgement free space where we can all learn alongside one another. One of the things that keeps bringing us back to lead this program is the continuous learning we get from these groups. We always walk away knowing more and feeling even more compassion for the parenting experience. Please reach out for information regarding current and upcoming programs.

After completion of the Circle of Security Parenting Program, if you are looking for hands-on support, your facilitators can come into your home to help implement learning at a rate of $53/hour with a minimum two hours.

Theraplay ™ Packages

Focusing on the four domains of sensitive parenting, Engagement, Structuring, Challenging and Nurturing, your Theraplay practitioner will help you work towards your individual parenting goals through the introduction of play-based intervention. We know that children learn best through play, and regulation and being in relationship is no exception. One of the best parts of Theraplay is that as we get laughing, delighting and sharing, the child -and even the adults - can let themselves get lost in the moment and simply have fun! Your practitioner will be there to closely guide each session with targeted activities and self-reflection.

Facilitated by one of the EASE team members, Theraplay packages will consist of a consultation with caregivers, at least one assessment visit with the participating family members, a minimum of 4 intervention sessions which will include practice time with just the caregivers where we will review skills and discuss strengths and areas of need from the previous session. The number of intervention sessions can be extended based on the need of your family. The practice portion of programming can also be separated into their own visits if that works best for your family.

Theraplay assessment and intervention sessions will be billed at $53/hour with a 2 hour minimum per visit.
